TCL Huaxing released the high-speed point-to-point transmission technology CSOT Point to Point Interface (CSPI), which achieves higher transmission frequency and speed than the traditional P2P transmission technology. At the same time, it turns CSPI into the national standard China Standard Point to Point Interface, which provides a better solution for high-resolution and high-refresh display data transmission.

CTOnews.com learned that CSPI protocol technology is an on-screen high-speed transmission technology independently innovated by TCL Huaxing, which provides a solution for high-speed signal transmission from TCON to Source Driver in the display screen driver architecture. Take 8K products as an example, if the traditional Mini LVDS technology cabling requires 169Pairs, production is not feasible, but the number of CSPI cabling can be reduced to 48Pairs, the number of cabling can be reduced by 70%.

In addition, the traditional P2P transmission technology in high-speed transmission, there will be inter-symbol distortion, TCL Huaxing self-developed AEQ adaptive equalizer design can solve this problem, to ensure that high-speed transmission also has excellent display quality.

Different from the traditional Multi-Drop architecture, the traditional P2P transmission technology uses the internal clock recovery circuit to recover the clock signal according to the received differential signal (including clock signal and data signal), and samples the corresponding data signal according to the clock signal, which has the characteristic of fast transmission rate.

TCL Huaxing CSPI technology, compared with the traditional P2P transmission technology, uses 8B / 9B codec and clock embedding technology to further improve the transmission frequency and transmission efficiency, in which the transmission frequency is 7.5 times higher than the traditional Mini LVDS technology, and the transmission efficiency is 11% higher than the traditional P2P transmission technology.
