Zhu Huarong, chairman of Changan Automobile, said that the CD701 is the first "new car" built by Changan Automobile based on SDA architecture, and it is a concentrated embodiment of Changan's new experience of providing users with full-scene wisdom.

The interior of the new car is very sci-fi simple, the exterior is also very futuristic, and it seems to have both SUV and pickup designs. The C-shaped light group has a slightly underlined light belt in the center and a slip-back design on the side, equipped with five rims, a back-shaped taillight at the rear and adjustable atmosphere lighting for the whole car.

However, the car does not have a dashboard or a HUD head-up design, and the central control area is equipped with a large screen, and some changes are expected in the production car.

CTOnews.com learned that at the Changan New Energy B round financing meeting held at the beginning of 2022, the company announced that it had raised 4.9773 billion yuan, which will mainly promote the SDA structure in the future. Officials say more than 20 new smart electric vehicles will be launched within five years, and 11 new products, including sedan cars, SUV and MPV, are expected to be launched in the next three years.
