Spencer recently gave an interview with Bloomberg Studio 1.0, during which he answered a question about his game habits. Speaking of his game habits, the Xbox boss said he went to bed early, so he could only play about 15 hours a week. In other words, he plays games for about two hours a day, or an hour a day on weekdays, and even longer on weekends. He didn't say how he allocated it.

For executives at large companies like Microsoft, 15 hours a week is a relatively healthy time to play games. Of course, Spencer may get those 15 hours of playtime at work because he also needs to experience his own studio projects, but he seems to be referring to personal playtime in the interview because he mentioned going to bed early.

CTOnews.com learned that while 15 hours a week may seem like a lot for a Xbox executive, it's not a lot for gamers. Spencer has previously said that he is a big fan of Destiny 2, but spends less than 15 hours a week on Destiny 2.

Still, Spencer should spend more time playing games than the executives of most big game companies. When asked what he is currently playing, Spencer excitedly mentions the "Baa Baa Apocalypse", which shows that he is very willing to try new things and play as many new games as possible.
