CTOnews.com, August 27, according to CCTV, the continuous beam "Block 0" of the No. 1 pier of the Fujiahe Bridge on the Xi'an-Ankang high-speed railway was successfully poured yesterday and completed today after 12 hours of continuous struggle.

This is the first continuous beam to be poured on the whole bridge of Xikang high-speed railway, indicating that the bridge construction of Xikang high-speed railway has entered a new stage of speeding up construction.

CTOnews.com learned that the Xikang high-speed railway is an important part of the Baohai passageway in the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network and is the north-south trunk road of the Shaanxi "meter" high-speed rail network. After it is completed and opened to traffic, the Xi'an-Kang high-speed railway can be reached between Ankang and Xi'an in as soon as 40 minutes.

According to reports, the total length of the new main line of Xikang high-speed railway is about 171 kilometers, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, and the planned construction period is five years.

The route plan is led from the southern end of Xi'an East Railway Station, across the Qianhe River, across the Qinling Mountains, through Zuoshui, Zhenan, Xunyang, and connected to the planned Ankang West Station. The planned construction period is 5 years. There are six stations in Xi'an East, Taihe, Zhashui West, Zhenanxi, Tongmu and Ankangxi.

After the project is completed and opened to traffic, the running time of the railway from Xi'an to Ankang will be shortened from about 3 hours now to less than 1 hour, which will greatly shorten the time and space distance between the Guanzhong urban agglomeration and the Qinba Mountains in southern Shaanxi. It is of great significance to promote the revitalization of the Qinba Mountains and promote the development of the local economy.
