CTOnews.com, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) according to BYD's official news, a number of new energy models will be launched for the European market this fall, including BYD Tang, Han, and Yuan PLUS, and will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October.

BYD said that at present, BYD has reached a strategic partnership with a number of leading passenger car dealers in Europe, a number of offline stores will open in the autumn, and the first vehicles are expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter of this year.

BYD said that as early as 1998, BYD set up an European branch in the Netherlands, which is BYD's first overseas branch. After 24 years of hard work, BYD has expanded its business in Europe to new energy areas such as solar energy, energy storage, electric buses, trucks and forklifts, operating in more than 20 countries and more than 100 cities in Europe.

CTOnews.com learned that BYD's data show that in the first half of this year, BYD's sales of new energy passenger vehicles exceeded 640000, an increase of 165.4 percent over the same period last year, and the cumulative service customers of new energy vehicles exceeded 2.3 million.
