The official said that the Optical Valley Air Rail Tourism Line project, located in the Central Ecological Corridor of Wuhan Donghu High-tech Zone, is one of the tourism supporting infrastructure of the ecological corridor, with a total planning length of 26.7 kilometers. The first phase of the project, which is about 10.5 kilometers long and has six stations, is the first commercial city "air track" planned and built in China. When completed, it will become the first suspended air rail line to be put into commercial operation.
