So far, 13 tunnels of Yawan high-speed railway have been completed. The completion of civil works of roadbed, bridge and station has all exceeded 90%, and the main line has begun to lay tracks. The high-speed EMU and integrated inspection train tailored for the Yawan high-speed railway have also been successfully offline and left for Indonesia on Sunday.

According to reports, the Yawan high-speed railway is a high-speed railway connecting the Greater Jakarta metropolitan area of the Republic of Indonesia and West Java Province. it is the first high-speed railway in Southeast Asia, and it is also the first project for China's high-speed railway to land overseas, and it is a landmark project for the joint construction of the "Belt and Road Initiative" initiative and practical cooperation between China and Indonesia.

The Yawan high-speed railway, which runs from Halim station in Jakarta in the west to de Carrul station in Bandung in the east, has four stations with a total length of 142.3 km / h, with a design speed of 350km / h and a running speed of 300km / h, Xinhua reported. When completed and opened to traffic, the travel time from Jakarta to Bandung will be reduced from more than 3 hours to 40 minutes.
