For the IONIQ 6's first-day booking performance, Hyundai Motor said that IONIQ 6's innovative exterior and interior design, top-notch range and driving performance combined with the latest technology appeared to have received positive feedback from the public and attracted consumer interest.

However, Hyundai IONIQ 6 will take some time to go on sale, foreign media in the report mentioned that Hyundai plans to officially release this electric car in September, the first half of next year in the United States debut.

Hyundai IONIQ 6, built on the E-GMP electric vehicle platform, inherits the design genes of the previous generation IONIQ 5. It is available in standard version and long-range version. The former is equipped with 53 kWh battery, while the latter is equipped with 77.4 kWh battery. The range is up to 380 miles, or about 611.5 kilometers. The starting price is 52 million won, equivalent to about 38,000 US dollars.
