CTOnews.com August 26, V News Agency said that in preparation for the launch of Steam Deck in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong, China, it has produced a free manual for Steam Deck, which is about 50 pages long, and has prepared Japanese, Korean, traditional Chinese and English versions.

The manual includes the background of Valve and the company's concept of building products and hardware to please customers; an overview of Steam, its development and status quo; the story of Steam Deck, how and why the V Club designed the product; working with Komodo to launch Steam Deck information in these new areas; and a large number of beautiful pictures of Steam Deck, prototypes, games and other content.

In the manual, Valve confirmed that Steam Deck and SteamOS will have a "multi-generation product line" and that there will be more Steam Deck and SteamOS in the future. "Valve will continue to support the development of Steam Deck and SteamOS in the foreseeable future. The Steam community will let us know that there are new uses of our hardware that we have never thought of, so we will create a new version that is more open and efficient than the first generation Steam Deck."

Valve also shared some interesting numbers about Steam, such as more than 130 million active players on Steam each month and more than 30,000 games on the platform. By the time the book was published, Valve said more than 4500 games were "verified" or "playable" on Steam Deck, meaning that about 15 per cent of the games on Steam had been considered at least "playable".

CTOnews.com learned that the preparation, design and translation of the manual were completed within the company. The V Society will distribute special entity manuals in the hands-on experience area of the Steam Deck booth at the Tokyo Gaming Fair in Japan.
