According to public data, Li Xiaoyang holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Department of Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University and a Master of Science degree from the Department of Electronics and computer Engineering from Cornell University in the United States. he has successively worked in SoftBank Saifu Fund, 360 Strategic Investment Department and 58 Group Strategic Investment Department, and has many years of investment M & A, team management and fund operation experience.

It is reported that Li Xiaoyang joined Baidu as the person in charge at the beginning of 2021. In the more than a year since he joined, Baidu has focused on self-driving, artificial intelligence, chips and other areas that are strongly related to Baidu Group's strategy. It has successively led investment and financing projects such as Jidu Automobile, Kunlun Core Technology, Xiaodu Technology, and Baitushengke. Prior to his tenure in 58 Group, Li Xiaoyang led the team to complete major projects such as the merger of 58.com and Ganji.com, the acquisition of Anjuke, and the spin-off of Guazi.
