After the establishment of the National Western Computing Industry Alliance, it will form four core regions: Ningxia and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Yangtze River Delta region, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area and Chengdu-Chongqing region.

According to the report, at present, more than 100 member units in 16 provinces and regions across the country have realized the docking of computing power supply and demand in the aspects of data center computing power enhancement, digital manufacturing growth, data circulation fusion and so on.

CTOnews.com learned that information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shows that by the end of June 2022, the total scale of computing power in China has exceeded 140EFLOPS (floating-point operations per second). In the past five years, the average annual growth rate of computing power in China has exceeded 30%, ranking second in the world.
