CTOnews.com, August 25, the first Beta version of Apple iOS 16 had some compatibility issues with TestFlight, which was later fixed by an update. Now Mac users running macOS 13 Ventura Beta 5 are also experiencing TestFlight problems and no longer allow users to install or update Beta applications.

TestFlight is an Apple-owned platform that allows you to easily test the Beta version of macOS App and provide developers with valuable feedback before releasing App to App Store. Developers invite testers via email or public links.

CTOnews.com learned that with the development of macOS 13 Ventura, many developers have submitted their Beta version of their application, which includes new features for macOS 13.

TestFlight problems seem to affect almost all Mac users running the latest Beta 5 beta of macOS 13 Ventura, which was released to developers on August 8. But Apple has not released any updates to the macOS Ventura beta since then, while the iOS 16 Beta has been updated twice in the same period.

This incompatibility issue forces users to replace Beta applications with regular versions because each Beta version has a 90-day time limit before it expires. Because the TestFlight application is no longer working, the beta application will stop working after it expires, and there is nothing users can do about it.

Developers have been complaining about the same mistakes. After you click to install or update the Beta version of the application, TestFlight downloads the application, but nothing else happens. As a result, developers will not be able to get feedback from users on the new version of their application.

It is not clear what caused the TestFlight error on macOS, and Apple did not comment. Similar to iPadOS 16, the macOS 13 Ventura is expected to be released to the public later this year.
