CTOnews.com learned that The Lord of Rings:The Rings of Power, produced by Amazon and directed by J A Bayana and Wayne Ye, is adapted from J R R Tolkien's novel of the same name, starring Lanny Henry, Peter Mulan and Cynthia Yardai Robinson, with a budget of $465 million, making it the most expensive TV series in history.
