CTOnews.com, August 24 (Xinhua)-- BlackBerry, now out of public view, has launched a number of classic smartphones. The company achieved great success at the beginning of the 21st century, but eventually dropped out of the smartphone market because it failed to keep up with the times.

A new film directed by director Matt Johnson, which will tell the rise and fall of BlackBerry, is simply called "BlackBerry," about BlackBerry's Canadian parent company Research in Motion getting stuck in a legal dispute and losing market advantage to competitors such as Apple and Samsung.
