Tonight, Asustek unveiled new mATX and mini-ITX X670E motherboards, models ROG CROSSHAIR X670E GENE and ROG STRIX X670E-I GAMING WIFI, respectively.
CTOnews.com learned that the mATX board-based ROG Crosshair X670E GENE motherboard is equipped with a 16x 2-phase power solution, with PCIe Gen 5.0 and M.2 Gen 5 slots, USB4 support, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port that supports 60W charging.
According to foreign media WccfTech, the Mini-ITX board ROG STRIX X670E-I Gaming WiFI adopts a special design, and one of the two Promontory 21 chips is located on the modular PCB, thus saving space. In addition, the motherboard is also equipped with PCIe Gen 5.0and M.2 Gen 5 slots.
At present, Asustek has not yet announced the price and launch time of the new motherboard.
