According to CTOnews.com8 news on July 23, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers today released the ranking of the top 10 SUV brands in July 2022, of which Song DM sold more than 30,000 vehicles in July, leading a group of SUV brands.

In terms of detailed data, in July 2022, the top 10 SUV brands by sales were Song DM, Harvard H6, Honda CR-V, Yuan EV, Changan CS75, Tuguan, Ruihu 7, Toyota RAV4, Aion and Mercedes-Benz-GLC. In addition to Song DM leading the pack with sales of more than 30,000 vehicles, Harvard H6 and Honda CR-V also lag far behind Yuan EV and other top brands.

Compared with the previous month, sales of all brands increased except Toyota's RAV4 sales fell slightly; except Toyota RAV4 sales fell, all other brands increased to varying degrees compared with the same period last year, and BYD's yuan EV and Song DM sales increased rapidly.

In addition, the ten brands sold 225600 vehicles in July, accounting for 21.9% of SUV's total sales.

CTOnews.com learned that the China Automobile Association released a ranking of the top 10 SUV brands in the first half of 2022 on July 21 this year, of which Tesla Model Y sold about 180000 vehicles, far ahead of SUV brands. However, as Tesla's sales in China often show "roller coaster" changes, there is no Model Y in the top 10 of this month's sales list.

In July 2022, Tesla Model Y sold 7640 units in a single month, according to the Federation of passengers. Its sales are down 85.3% from last month.
