CTOnews.com August 23, Microsoft Edge browser recently tested a new Drop feature that allows users to use browsers to share files and notes across devices, similar to Telegram's saved messages.

Last night, the official Weibo of Microsoft's Edge browser launched a vote to solicit Chinese names for the Drop function from netizens, listing several candidates, including "procrastination", "boundless", "easy to cast (e-vote)", "love biography" and "flash push". You can also leave a message to write a Chinese name that you feel better.

CTOnews.com learned that foreign media Windows Latest has had a hands-on experience of this feature, which can transmit almost all content, including applications, text, notes, files and other types of attachments.

According to tests, instead of developing a new cloud storage service for Edge, Microsoft uses OneDrive. In order to access this feature, the user must log in to the Microsoft account, and the storage space depends on the space of the OneDrive.

To use this feature, users need to click the paper plane icon on the toolbar in the upper-right corner of the browser, and then enter text in an interface similar to a chat window, or send a file.
