At present, this service is provided on more than 1700 EMU trains undertaken by 15 railway bureaus.

The "Railway smooth running" QR code is affixed to the armrest of the train seat and has the functions of catering service, ticket replacement, lost goods search, problem feedback and so on. Passengers can scan the code to check the train number, date, carriage number, late, final arrival weather and other information.

CTOnews.com learned that the "Railway Changxing" QR code has clear location information, has an accurate corresponding relationship with passenger ticket and identity information, and has the advantage of "one block, one code", which can realize the transformation of passenger service from face to point, provide richer and more accurate personalized services for passengers, and meet the multi-level and differentiated needs of passengers on the way.

In the next step, the railway department will continue to enrich and expand the function of "smooth railway" code scanning service, and further expand the scope of pilot application. China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. requires that the group companies of various railway administrations strengthen the docking with the 12306 Science and Technology Innovation Center, and conscientiously do a good job in on-the-job training, QR code pasting, upgrading of hand-held terminals and integrated ticketing machines, train broadcasting, and so on.

In addition to promoting the "smooth Railway" code scanning service, it also further promotes the application of new ticket products. At present, the new ticket products have covered 380 stations on the road.
