Today, the official WeChat of Shenzhen Transportation Bureau said that the third batch of open roads in Shenzhen Intelligent Network Automobile Road Test have been selected recently, among which the areas available for road testing in Nanshan District are Qianhai District and Xili Lake area. Futian District is available for road test in Shangmeilin area, and Dapeng New District is available for road test in Baishawan area.

According to reports, a total of 53 roads were opened, with a total road mileage of about 56.68km. At present, Shenzhen has opened a total of intelligent network car test road mileage of about 201.37 kilometers, open test roads. Among them, the first batch of 124 km of open roads, 105 open roads, the second batch of 20.69 km, 29 open roads.

CTOnews.com learned that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said on March 25 this year that so far, the mileage of test roads has exceeded 5000 km and the mileage of safety test has exceeded 10 million km. In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will speed up the promotion of intelligent network-connected vehicle road testing and demonstration.

On August 1 this year, the regulations on the Administration of Intelligent Web-connected cars in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone was formally implemented, which means that Shenzhen has allowed fully self-driving cars to be legally on the road.
