CTOnews.com August 22, the AMD Ruilong 7000 processor will be released at the end of this month and is expected to be available next month, when various manufacturers' X670 series motherboards will be available at the same time.

Today, MSI released a warm-up message for its X670 motherboard, introducing the function of tool-free installation of M.2 hard drives.

As shown in the image above, this new M.2 fastener is used in this MPG X670E CARBON WIFI dark motherboard. The picture above shows the M.2 frost armor radiator on the motherboard, and there is a metal moving part at the end of the radiator, which is pushed to the right by hand and gently lifted up to release and pop up the M.2 frost armor without the need for a screwdriver.

The M.2 hard disk body is also tool-free. After inserting the hard disk into the M.2 slot, the fastener at the end can jam the hard disk by turning half a circle, thus eliminating the step of screwing each time.

Officials say that with the new design, it is theoretically possible to install M.2 hard drives with one hand.

In addition, MSI also introduces the SSD heat sink of X670 motherboard. MSI said that considering that M.2 will support PCI-E 5.0, the frost armour heat sink of the MSI X670 motherboard has also been specially designed, and the double-layer structure brings a larger heat transfer area to improve the heat dissipation effect of the M.2 hard disk, which can maintain its full speed for as long as possible for the PCI-E 5.0hard disk with the highest speed of 13GB per second.

AMD will hold a live broadcast of "together we advance_PCs" at 7: 00 a.m. on August 30, Beijing time, to unveil the next generation of AMD PC products. Please follow CTOnews.com 's report at that time.
