It is estimated that the affected production capacity of the local 8.5 and 8.6 generation lines is about 53,000 - 68,000 substrates.

Analysts expect output from local panel factories in Sichuan to decrease further after the power curtailment period is extended, especially the monthly production capacity of global LCD TV panels will decrease by 20%, but the oversupply situation in the panel industry is expected to ease. The key enterprises potentially affected include upstream supporting manufacturers Guangming Optoelectronics, Luwei Optoelectronics, Oxi, etc., midstream panel manufacturers BOE, Huike, Tianma, Xinli, Zhongdian Panda, downstream display terminal manufacturers Changhong, TCL, Foxconn, Renbao, Weichuang, Guangda, etc.
