According to the Nikkei News, Nikon recently put forward a new business development goal for semiconductor lithography equipment, that is, to more than double the annual shipments of lithography machines in the fiscal year ending March 2026, according to the Nikkei News.

Reported that Nikon will actively open up customers other than Intel, especially customers in Japan and China, and plans to reduce Intel's share of lithography equipment revenue from 80% to 50%.

Nikon will also introduce new lithography machines to meet the manufacturing needs of 3D stacked structure devices such as storage semiconductors and image sensors, which has improved its competitiveness in the mature process equipment market. Currently, the company sells an average of 16 ArF lithography machines per year (including second-hand refurbishment).
