Although the relatively high domestic business was affected by the epidemic situation, it still increased by 16% year-on-year, and the gross profit rate increased compared with the same period last year. Cultural travel night tour was greatly affected by the domestic epidemic situation in the first half of the year, and the revenue declined sharply. The gross profit rate increased by 9.26 percentage points compared with the same period of last year due to project settlement.

The operating income of virtual reality segment increased by 13.63% compared with the same period last year, and the gross profit margin increased steadily. Since mid-2021, the FPGA, image sensor and voltage regulation module of NP's OptiTrack products have been mainly sourced from AMD, Texas Instruments, ON Semiconductor and other companies. Since August this year, the shortage of these raw materials has begun to ease.

Since the company released the world's first "Micro LED display products"(pitch 0.4mm, 0.6mm, 0.7mm, 0.9mm) in 2020, Micro LED display marketing and capacity expansion are advancing as planned. In the first half of the year, due to the epidemic situation in China, Micro LED orders and Wuxi factory operating rate were affected. After July, orders accelerated; as of the announcement date of this report, Micro LED display orders increased by RMB 150 million yuan this year.

Liard said that after more than a year of research and development investment and process improvement, the company's Micro LED products have made great progress. Mass Transfer Yield Increase: Lijing adopts laser mass transfer technology, and the mass transfer yield has been increased from 98.9% to 99.995% when it is put into production; the new process is mature: after the improvement of Micro LED process, the New package single lamp mass production expands the pitch of Micro LED display products to 1.8mm; Micro LED Nin1 products (pitch 0.4mm, 0.6mm, 0.7mm, 0.9mm) cost due to yield improvement, scale efficiency, process improvement and other good progress, and the upstream Micro chip price is lowered, the product price is significantly lower than when it is listed in 2020, the market space is further opened.

In addition, Liard and Saphlux Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "Saphlux")(12.37% stake) jointly completed the development and testing of display screens prepared using NPQD® R1 Micro LED chips. According to Saphlux, the product has been officially introduced into mass production. This is the industry's first display screen using quantum dot Micro LED chips, and this major technological breakthrough will fully accelerate the commercialization process of Micro LED display technology.
