CTOnews.com August 21, @ ALumia_Italia grabbed the Xbox backend and found that Microsoft has built the Ubisoft Ubisoft + logo into its service. Microsoft has previously announced that the service will launch on Xbox this year, but there has been no news for more than half a year, which may indicate that Ubisoft is about to launch its subscription service on Xbox.

CTOnews.com learned that Ubisoft + is Ubisoft's official game subscription service, which supports free play of more than 100 games on the platform, and it is the ultimate version, which costs $14.99 a month and is not currently available in the national region.

In January this year, Ubisoft announced that the Ubisoft subscription service would be launched on Microsoft's Xbox platform, and "Rainbow 6: Fae" would be launched into Xbox Game Pass. However, the Yubi official later clarified that Ubisoft subscription is not a XGP member like EA Play, and that there is still an extra charge for Ubisoft subscription service on the Xbox platform.

Originally launched the PC platform as Uplay+ in September 2019, and Ubisoft+ offers access to more than 100 Ubisoft games, including new games and DLC at the time of launch, for just $14.99,12.99pence / 14.99euros per month.

Subscribers can use Ubisoft+ on cloud gaming platforms Stadia and PC for as little as $17.99 / £14.99 / EUR 17.99 per month.

"We will provide Xbox users with Ubisoft+ subscription services so that players can enjoy the full contents of our Ubisoft+ game library, including the new version, on their consoles," said Chris Early, senior vice president of strategic cooperation and business development at Ubisoft at the time.

Earlier this month, Reuters reported that Tencent was interested in buying more shares in Ubisoft. Tencent already owns 5 per cent of the company, but they want more and have "contacted the Guillemot family, the founder of the French company, and expressed interest in increasing its stake in Ubisoft".

However, Reuters also pointed out that it is not clear how many shares Tencent wants to buy. But Ubisoft is currently valued at just $5.3 billion.
