Mobile long-distance roaming fees and traffic "roaming" fees have been abolished one after another, and the average tariff per unit flow has been reduced by more than 95%. A person in charge of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that during the 13th five-year Plan period, the average annual decline in comprehensive energy consumption per unit of telecommunications business was more than 20%. In the future, it will further actively promote energy conservation and consumption reduction in the information and communications industry and guide the green and low-carbon development of the industry. At present, the energy consumption of a single site of 5G base stations has been reduced by more than 20% compared with the initial commercial stage, and the average design PUE (power utilization efficiency) of large-scale data centers under construction across the country has been reduced to less than 1.3. It is necessary to comprehensively carry out network optical fiber transformation, publish a catalogue of old and high energy-consuming equipment in the industry and a catalogue of new technologies for energy conservation, and steadily promote network upgrading. We will continue to promote the co-construction and sharing of communication infrastructure in the scenarios of base station computer rooms, pipeline lines and smart towers, so as to improve the green level of network construction, operation and maintenance.
