It is reported that the nuclear display of Meteor Lake will use Xe-LPG architecture, that is, a stripped-down version of Xe-HPG architecture. Recent patches from the Intel graphics compiler suggest that Meteor Lake kernels may support ray tracing acceleration. It is not clear how many EU (execution units) the 14-generation Core Xe-LPG has. The earliest sources said it could have up to 192 EU, but recent sources say there may only be 128 EU.

CTOnews.com has learned that Intel has confirmed that the series will adopt the newer Intel 4 process. It was revealed that the 14th generation Core Meteor Lake architecture will cover the desktop and mobile series, in which the mobile series processors will still be divided into H, P, U series, supporting USB-C (DP2.1) connectivity, up to 6 cores + 8 small cores, and memory support to LPDDR5 (X)-7467.

In May, Intel said the Meteor Lake series of 14-generation processors was lit up successfully. Intel said the Meteor Lake chip would be its first multi-chip design, integrating application processors, graphics processing units and connection chips into a single Intel Foveros advanced package.
