At the same time, Samsung also provides updates for the Galaxy S8 series, with firmware version G95xFXXUCDVG4, which was last officially updated in April 2021.

As you can see from the update log, this update is designed to improve the stability of GPS. Samsung plans to provide the update for more older models, including the Galaxy S6 series, which went on sale in 2015, and the Galaxy S9 series, because many older models are still in use, according to GalaxyClub. However, this update will not bring the latest security patches, but will only improve the stability of GPS.
