CTOnews.com, August 20 (Xinhua)-- Apple today issued a reminder to developers that starting next week, prices for purchases (except automatic renewal subscriptions) in App and App of App Store in Ghana and Turkey will be increased. Ghana's price increase will include a new VAT of 12.5% and a surtax of 6%.

CTOnews.com learned that Apple said that developers' earnings will be adjusted accordingly and will be calculated based on prices that do not include taxes. Appendix B to the paid App Agreement has been updated to indicate that Apple collects and remits applicable taxes in Ghana.

In addition, if the developer is in App Store Connect. The appropriate tax category has been selected, and the income of Estonian electronic publications has been adjusted to reflect the reduction in VAT from 9% to 5%.

Apple pointed out that the "Price and sales range" section of my App will be updated as soon as the above adjustments take effect. Developers can change the price of items purchased in App and App (including automatic renewal subscriptions) in App Store Connect at any time. If developers offer subscription items, they can choose to keep the current price for existing subscribers.
