CTOnews.com August 11, Arm this week announced the first quarter of fiscal year 2022 (April-June 2022) results.

Arm's revenue rose 6 per cent year-on-year to a record high of $719 million in the quarter. Of this total, the revenue of licensing fees reached US $453 million, an increase of 22% year-on-year to a record high, and this is the first time that Arm's quarterly licensing fee revenue has exceeded US $400 million. In the current quarter, Arm's adjusted EBITDA was $414 million, up 31 per cent from a year earlier.

Arm said that partner shipments of chips based on Arm architecture reached 7.4 billion, an increase of 7% year-on-year and a record high at the same time.

According to reports, in addition to the traditional mobile market, Arm is also expanding to customers in the automotive and infrastructure sectors, who have seen strong growth in all new target markets this quarter.
