CTOnews.com August 11 news, according to China's Taiwan Economic Daily, financial data show that iPhone contract manufacturer Heshuo's July revenue decreased by 6.1% compared with the previous month, but monthly revenue still accounted for 100 billion New Taiwan dollars, in line with expectations.

CTOnews.com learned that Pegatron's July revenue was NT $107.97 billion (about 24.401 billion yuan), down 6.1% from a month earlier, but up 22.1% from a year earlier, while cumulative revenue in the first seven months of this year was NT $715.452 billion (about 161.692 billion yuan), up 23.9% from a year earlier.

Taiwan media pointed out that Pegatron's July revenue stood at the 100 billion mark, mainly because the third quarter entered the second half of the peak season, many new consumer electronics products entered the pull phase, so although June is the quarter-end peak, the base period is relatively high, but Pegatron's July revenue also declined only slightly by 6.1%.

In terms of products, Pegatron shipped 70-750000 notebook computers in July, slightly lower than 760000 last month; desktops and motherboards shipped 500000 units / piece, a decrease of 40, 000 units / piece compared with the previous month.

Looking forward to the third quarter, Pegatron previously pointed out that overall, the third quarter is the traditional peak season, and the three major product lines are expected to achieve month-on-month growth; Apple is expected to release a new iPhone in September, and Pegatron, a major assembly plant, is expected to take off.
