According to reports on the morning of August 11, Beijing time, Tesla CEO Elon Musk's legal team asked Twitter to provide the names of employees who counted the number of robot accounts and spam accounts, according to people familiar with the matter.

Twitter requires Musk to complete a $44 billion acquisition, but Musk believes that the robot account and spam account data provided by Twitter are not true, which has become the focus of dispute between the two sides.

Last month, Musk said the deal was terminated because Twitter refused to provide data. Twitter sued Musk, forcing him to close the deal, saying the issue had nothing to do with the agreement.

The case will be heard in Delaware on October 17.

Musk's legal team asked the judge who oversaw the case to force Twitter to hand over the list of employees so that lawyers could ask questions, according to people familiar with the matter.
