The planned expansion of Lucid is the third phase of the construction of their AMP-1 plant, the second phase of which began in 2021 and is still under construction and is not expected to be completed until 2023.

As the second phase is still under construction, it will take some time for the third phase of the Lucid plan to start. They also disclosed in the document that it may begin in fiscal year 2023 and continue through fiscal year 2024 or fiscal year 2025. The construction of the third phase of Lucid's 2023 fiscal year will begin at the beginning of next year, that is, next year.

Foreign media reported that the third phase of the AMP-1 plant planned by Lucid will not only build new plants, but also expand existing facilities, and they hope to increase the annual production capacity of the plant to 400000 vehicles. The third phase also plans to build a customer experience center to increase the flow of people in the factory.

After the expansion of the factory, the production capacity will be increased, and the related transportation will be increased. Coupled with the customer experience center, the traffic flow on the roads around the factory will increase significantly. The local government will also invest nearly $7 million to expand and improve roads around the factory.
