CTOnews.com news on August 10, today, Lenovo Group announced the results of the first quarter of fiscal year 2022: revenue was nearly 112 billion yuan, up 0.2% from the same period last year, excluding exchange rate fluctuations, up 5%; net profit was 3.4 billion yuan, up 11% from the same period last year; net profit using non-Hong Kong financial reporting standards was 3.67 billion yuan, up 35% from the same period last year.

Lenovo also said it passed an important milestone last quarter: revenue from businesses other than personal computers accounted for more than 37 per cent of total revenue, according to CTOnews.com. SSG solution service, ISG infrastructure solution business and smartphone business have all achieved double-digit revenue growth.

Among them, SSG revenue increased 23% year-on-year to 9.6 billion yuan, operating profit increased 25% year-on-year to 2.17 billion yuan; ISG single-quarter revenue reached a record high of 13.8 billion yuan, an increase of nearly 14% year-on-year, maintaining profits for three consecutive quarters; IDG smart device business group achieved revenue of 94.2 billion yuan, leading the industry in profit margins of more than 7 billion yuan, of which smartphone business revenue increased 21% year on year.

In addition, Lenovo's R & D investment increased by 10% last quarter compared with the same period last year, and the number of R & D personnel increased by 29%. The highlights of performance are as follows:

Revenue and operating profit of SSG Solutions Services Business Group increased by 23% and 25% respectively compared with the same period last year.

ISG Infrastructure Solutions Business Group reached a record high of 13.8 billion in revenue, making profits for the third consecutive quarter.

IDG Intelligent device Business Group has revenue of 94.2 billion yuan and operating profit of 7.06 billion yuan.

Revenue from the smartphone business rose 21% year-on-year.
