CTOnews.com August 9 news, today, Bishi Technology held a press conference, officially released its first general GPU chip BR100 series. According to officials, BR100 has set a global computing record, with 16-bit floating-point computing power reaching more than 1000T, 8-bit fixed-point computing power reaching more than 2000T, and single-chip peak computing power reaching the level of PFLOPS.

According to officials, BR100, the first general-purpose GPU chip product, has set a global computing record, with a peak computing power of more than 3 times that of international manufacturers' flagship products on sale, setting a domestic interconnection bandwidth record. It is still the first general GPU chip in China to adopt Chiplet technology, take the lead in using a new generation of host interface PCIe 5.0, and take the lead in supporting CXL interconnection protocol.

BR100 adopts Chiplet design concept, so that the total chip area can break through the limitation of mask size on the area of a single chip, and integrate more computing power and universal logic; in addition, by reducing the area of a single computing core, it can also increase production capacity and yield at the same time, thus greatly reducing the cost of silicon wafers.

BR104, another product of the BR100 series, is also based on the Baili architecture, with a computing core and about half the performance of the BR100, also surpassing the flagship products sold by international manufacturers, officials said.

CTOnews.com learned that at the press conference, Baili Technology also officially unveiled its own original architecture-Bili, the OAM server that set a global performance record-Haixuan, and the OAM module-Bili 10014 PCIe board products-Bili 104, as well as the independently developed BIRENSUPA software platform.

The Bili 104 board is based on the standard PCIe form, the power consumption is controlled within 300W, and can adapt to a variety of 2-4U servers.

The Haixuan server can provide floating-point peak computing power of up to 8PFLOPS (8000 trillion beats per second), which officials say exceeds the capacity of any previous 8-card accelerated computing device.

According to reports, the BIRENSUPA software platform independently developed by Bishi Technology is built on the underlying hardware of BR100 series products, and is composed of drive layer, programming platform, framework layer and application solution, supporting all kinds of application scenarios. BIRENSUPA programming platform is located in the center of the software stack, including BIRENSUPA programming model, acceleration library, tool chain, compiler and other components. Developers can use these components to develop a variety of applications.
