Recently, there are still a lot of agents come to ask CSP what it means to place an order. They always listen to CSP, but they don't know what to say.

In fact, CSP is just a way to pick up goods in China. CSP is cloud solution provider, that is, agents go to CSP to buy 365 to end users. In the past, Microsoft Cloud, whether Azure (IaaS & PaaS) or O365 (SaaS), mainly relied on direct sales, but this is actually not conducive to the establishment of ecology and the growth of partners. Therefore, since March 2015, the concept of distribution service provider has emerged, which is to transform the original general generation and distributors from selling products to cloud suppliers (not limited to selling Microsoft Cloud, but also to build their own cloud platform on this basis.), and then develop valuable products to provide to customers), let agents directly to users to carry out cloud business, Microsoft is only to provide a cloud platform. In order to promote the further development of the business, Microsoft has joined hands with cloud distributors to expand secondary and tertiary distributors and recruit more secondary cloud agents of all sizes. Such channels have a good-sounding name, CSP (Cloud Solutions Provider). I believe that after this explanation, everyone will be more clear.

So at present, in China, there are a total of 4 CSP Cloud General Generation, Jiajie, Yingmai, Lenovo and China Building Materials.

The first two belong to the traditional general generation transformation, almost all Microsoft business agents will be more familiar, the latter two are relatively unfamiliar. It is expected that by the end of February 2016, Lianqiang will also become a CSP, when it will become five.

The following describes the process of issuing an order from Cloud General Manager CSP. It will take at most 1 week to complete the whole process, so set aside time in advance.

The first step, the agent to find the cloud general generation CSP to sign a "cooperation agreement", this is the relationship between the agent and the cloud general generation, only need to sign the first time, get an exclusive cooperation agreement number, and then do not need to sign, after signing, first seal and send a scan to the cloud generation, and then send the original to the cloud generation.

The second step, the agent and the customer sign the contract, this has nothing to do with the cloud agent, the customer pays to the agent, the agent issues the invoice to the customer. After the agent and the customer confirm the product, quantity and the time to be used, ask the customer to seal a "service agreement" issued by 21V. Note that this must be a riding seal. This agreement is a format contract and cannot be modified. As far as customers are concerned, there is no risk. Just seal it.

In the third step, the agent will take the "service agreement" sealed by the customer, fill in the "purchase order for office365 cloud service products" required by the cloud manager, send scanned copies and electronic documents to the cloud manager first, and then send the original to the cloud manager after the service.

The fourth step, the general manager of the cloud will notify the agent to pay after checking the material, so the discount of the agent will be obtained at the time of payment, and the specific amount is discussed by the agent himself and the general manager of the cloud. The advantage is that there is a discount for picking up the goods every year. (here, we also hope that our customers will show mercy, in fact, Microsoft has not been very good at the policy of cloud products, the space for agents is very low, and the technical requirements for services are high, so it is very hard to do. )

Fifth, after receiving the payment, the cloud agent will activate the service within 3 working days, and will directly send the account password to the customer, and send an email to the agent to inform the agent that the service has been activated.

By the way, we should pay attention to some details:

1. The global version originally purchased by the customer, if you want to change to the 21V version, which involves mailboxes, will involve data migration. This requires third-party tools, and 365 comes with tools that are not easy to use.

two。 For the 21V version originally purchased by customers, if you want to place an order through web-direct, if you want to place an order with Cloud General Generation (CSP), you need to stop your web-direct account and re-place the order from Cloud General Generation. Moreover, if you have a mailbox, it will also involve data migration, which is equivalent to the transfer between two different accounts. This really hurts. But it is said that it will not be needed in late March, and I will let you know then.

3. Currently, orders are placed from Cloud General Generation (CSP), only annual payment is supported, and Cloud General Generation cannot be replaced within one year.

Finally, emphasize again the question of how the customer chooses the data center. Between July 2015 and December 2015, we found that there was a general decline in revenue among the orders placed online in the global version with the involvement of agents. How do you understand this? This shows that some agents only want immediate profits, in order to make their income a little more, either no longer serve customers, or migrate customer data to place orders from the cloud. This will lead to a consequence, that is, because this customer's situation is not applicable to the 21V version, it will not feel good to use, the access speed will be affected, and the agents will shift the responsibility to Microsoft because they are unwilling to take the responsibility. it may eventually cause customers to unsubscribe because of dissatisfaction with the service.

1. Which data center should customers choose to purchase depends on where more than 70% of the customers are located. If not many customers need to travel abroad in China, or someone abroad wants to visit the data center, customers are advised to choose the 21V version. As far as agents are concerned, they choose to go to Cloud General Generation (CSP) to place an order, which is the most profitable.

two。 On the other hand, if the vast majority of customers are abroad, or if they need to travel abroad frequently, customers are advised to buy the global version, because Singapore and Hong Kong are located in regions and countries with relatively high export bandwidths. Access speed will be more suitable for this kind of customers. In this case, the agent can only choose the web-direct way to place the order, that is, to place the order online. For this kind of customers, generally high loyalty, the need for agents to take a long-term view.

3. There is a situation where customers in foreign companies use abc.com to buy 365 in North America or Europe, and hope to use 365 in China, so it is necessary for sales and customers to determine whether they use the same domain name.

If you use the same domain name, that is, abc.com, then the customer cannot buy from any other data center in the world, including China, but can only go to the data center purchased by his foreign company.

If abc.cn is available, then customers can choose the two data centers in China, which one they choose, see 1 and 2. Just want to tell customers that because their foreign companies and domestic companies belong to different domain names and belong to two different organizations, the address book and calendar are out of sync, and most of the customers who choose to do so do not mind. If customers who need synchronization can choose to synchronize manually, they can use third-party tools to synchronize with third-party tools (tool fees, which are done by a British company). This feature is expected to come with its own support by the end of 2016.
