Slack encountered some problems on Tuesday, making it difficult for users to send and receive messages and to fully access the platform. On social media, users complain about long load times and inability to view threads when trying to access work-related chat rooms.

The Slack Status Twitter account eventually acknowledged the problem with the loading platform. "some customers may have problems loading Slack," Slack wrote. As of 2: 00 p.m. EDT, the status page of GRU 24jol Slack has reported that the problem has been resolved, and anyone who still has a problem should be able to connect by refreshing the application.

We are investigating some users who are unable to load Slack. We are investigating the cause and will provide more information as soon as possible.

This problem is common, and many users complain on Twitter about the proliferation of problems found on Down Detector, but some people are still able to connect and send messages reliably.

"our team is aware of and is investigating this issue," Slack spokesman Sean Mills said in an emailed statement to The Verge.

So far, the good news is that, unlike in 2021, Slack waited until February for this year's first major blackout. Last year, problems arose on January 4, cutting off people trying to work remotely. Now, more employees are returning to the office, but it is clear that the demand for Slack services is still high.
