Vivo is known for launching new variants for some of its smartphone lines after a while. This happened to the Vivo x60 series, and a few months after its release, the Vivo X60t variant was obtained. Obviously, the same thing will happen with the upcoming X70 series, as the new Vivo X70t Pro smartphone may appear sooner than expected.

It's no secret that Vivo is preparing to launch three new smartphones in September. Currently, we are looking forward to Vivo X70, X70 Pro and Vivo X70 Pro Plus. Vivo's new flagship series will feature the company's first custom V1 image signal processor (ISP). It is said that these devices are also equipped with MediaTek Tianji 1200 and Snapdragon 888 SoC. Now, because the device visits the IMEI and Geekbench websites, Vivo also seems to be preparing the Vivo X70t Pro. The list confirms the name and model as well as some key specifications.

The Vivo X70t Pro is listed on the IMEI and Geekbench websites prior to release. The IMEI list confirms that the smartphone name is Vivo X70T Pro and displays the model V2135A. The smartphone is also listed on the Geekbench 5 website. According to reports, this smartphone carries MediaTek Tianji 1200 SoC. This is interesting, after all, the original Vivo X70 is expected to run with the same chipset. For those who don't know, it uses a 1 + 3 + 4 arrangement. The performance cluster is equipped with one Cortex-A78 kernel of 3 GHz and three Cortex-A78 cores of 2.6 GHz. The energy-efficient cluster has four Cortex-A55 cores with clock rates up to 2.4 GHz.

In addition to the chipset, Geekbench also revealed 8 GB of RAM and Android 11. The device may carry Origin OS 1 on top of China's Android. If other countries are involved, vivo will put a Funtouch OS 11 layer on top of A11. The equipment scored 866 in the single-core task and 3075 in the multi-core part.

Because the chipsets are similar, there may be other incremental changes to the device compared to the regular X70 and X70 Pro. It may have subtle differences in design, flat panel display, and four-camera settings on the back. This device may be an intermediate option between vanilla X70 and Pro variants. Of course, this is only the current guess. In this case, we need to wait for Vivo to reveal something.

It is worth noting that if there is a Vivo X70t Pro, we can also expect vanilla X70t to appear sooner or later.
