7. In the tree view, click the name of the static structure diagram icon, and then click the name again. Type a new name for the chart, such as the SubPackage1 diagram.

This adds the icon representing the chart to the tree view and displays the corresponding mold and blank drawing page.

8. Drag the shape onto the drawing page to represent the elements contained in the subpackage.

9. In the tree view, double-click the chart icon for the UML package diagram, and then repeat steps 3 through 7 until all the required subpackages are created.
