Today, I made a custom image of FreeBSD12 for the customer. After using the custom image to create ECS, I found that the machine started abnormally, and then use VNC to log in to the system:

1. After uploading a custom FreeBSD image to the environment of the cloud platform, create a virtual machine using the custom image, which cannot be accessed normally. Log in to the remote machine using vnc and find that the card is in mountroot status:

3. According to the prompt: ufs:/dev/da0s1a, and then enter ufs:/dev/vtbd0p2 according to the actual partition.

6. Edit the network card configuration file (/ etc/rc.conf)

7. Restart the network configuration (service netif restart)

11. By default, FreeBSD prohibits root users from logging in to ssh remotely. You need to make the following simple modifications:

13. Restart sshd service
