one。 Installation

1. Install a third-party yum source

Rpm-ivh rpmforge-release-0.5.3-1.el6.rf.x86_64.rpm

two。 Resolve dependencies

Yum install libtool automake autoconf M4 make gcc gcc-c++ gdbm gdbm-devel zlib zlib-devel openssl openssl-devel python-devel GeoIP GeoIP-devel-y

3. Installation

Yum install libpcap libpcap-devel-y

Yum install rrdtool rrdtool-devel-y

4. Install ntop

Tar zxf ntop-5.0.1.tar.gz

Cd ntop-5.0.1

. / autogen.sh (install the response according to the prompt)

Yum install-y svn subversion

Yum install libpcap-devel-1.5.3-8.el7.x86_64.rpm

Yum install GeoIP-devel-1.5.0-9.el7.x86_64.rpm

Yum install GeoIP-1.5.0-9.el7.x86_64

...

Make & & make install

[just give an example, there are a lot of things to install]

Some devel packages on the system are not available. You can download them from rpm.pbone.net;rpmfind.net. (looking for a bag is exhausting me)]

two。 Configuration

1.

Groupadd ntop

Useradd ntop-g ntop

Cd / usr/local/share/ntop (default build directory)

Chown-R ntop.ntop / usr/local/share/ntop/

two。 Create the rrd directory used by ntop

Mkdir / usr/local/var/ntop/rrd

Chown-R ntop.ntop / usr/local/var/ntop/rrd

three。 Start ntop

1.ntop-u ntop-d

two。 Log in to ntop on the browser
