1. Purpose of capacity expansion

The system is not working properly due to insufficient storage space on the server data disk. In order to solve this problem completely, we need to expand the capacity of the server data disk.

two。 Expansion steps

2.1. Turn off the computer (as shown below)

2.2. Create a snapshot (as shown below)

2.3. Capacity expansion (as shown below)

2.3.1. Expand capacity

2.3.2. Stop docker,mysql

Click the "login" button (as shown above), enter the following figure, and enter the server user name and password

After the login is successful, execute the following script

(1)。 Stop the docker service

Service docker stop

(2)。 Stop the mysql service

/ opt/lampp/lampp stop

2.4. Zoning

Check the current mount.

Uninstall the cloud disk in the operating system and console. For more information, please see the section on uninstalling cloud disk.

Expand the capacity of cloud disk through the cloud disk console.

Mount the cloud disk in the console. For more information, please see the mounting cloud disk section.

After the mount is complete, check the disk size within the operating system.

Use the fdisk command to delete the original partition and create a new partition.

Note: deleting a partition will not result in the loss of data in the data disk.

Check the file system and expand its capacity.

Use the mount command to remount the disk.

During the partitioning process, the data disk was occupied and could not be partitioned, which was later solved using xfs_growfs / dev/vdb.

Use the reboot command to restart the server, and after the server starts, check whether the system can be used properly.
