two。 Determine that there is a problem with the AP itself, not that the address cannot be obtained for network reasons

2.1 the specific practices are as follows:

First find the gateway and vlan of the AP, and look all the way through the upstream switch connected to the AP to check whether the DHCP is configured correctly (gateway, address range, vlan and option 43).

2.2 make sure that the network configuration is correct, and put a PC in the VLAN where the AP is located, and you can correctly obtain the IP address of the VLAN where the AP is located.

3. 1 image file of LAP:

The latest or recent version can be found officially. Note that it is a lightweight AP system image. It is best to find the official system version comparison table on AP and WLC to ensure compatibility.

3.2. Prepare the operation documentation, since this is a local upgrade, you need to configure the IP address of PC to transfer the image file of AP.

At the beginning of the upgrade, the IP address under the AP recovery model is 10.0.0.1Comp8, and the local IP is 10.0.0.2Uni8.

Put it in an address field or an vlan, and turn off the local computer firewall.

Open the tftp server on PC and place the image file in the directory specified by TFTP

Restart AP and hold down the mode key:

The rest of the process is for AP to reinstall the system.
