The Skype for Business communications and collaboration platform integrates the client experience derived from Skype with the enterprise-class security, compliance, and control of Lync. Compared to Lync 2013, Skype for Business Server 2015 provides features that include status, IM, voice and video calls, and online conferencing, as well as a new client experience, a new server version, and updates to services in Office 2015.
