LoadRunner is a rich and powerful performance testing tool, which is why many professionals choose it. Here is an example of using it for stress testing:

1 the following window appears when running LoadRunner:

3 you can create a new script or open an existing script here, and select the new Vuser script:

4 here to do a Web stress test, select Web (HTTP/HTML):

5 Select the recording application, and then start recording:

6 if the browser is used for the program to be recorded here, enter the address of the corresponding browser on disk to "Application to be recorded", and LoadRunner will automatically start the corresponding program for recording; the URL address is the address of the website to be tested; the working directory is the directory where the stress work is currently done; enter the following points to make sure:

7 the program pointed to by "Program to be recorded" is being launched here, which is the IE browser. Here, if LoadRunner fails to start IE, run the IE browser manually. After starting IE, the following window appears:

8 as shown in the figure, there will be three options in the drop-down order. Vuser_init is the initialization operation. You can select this option first, then record some operations related to initialization, then select Action,Action as the core part of the whole test, and finally select vuser_end, and the related operations at the end of recording (for example: vuser_init is login operation, Action is some addition, deletion, change and search operation after user login, vuser_end is login operation):

9 after recording, click the black square stop button:

10 Select concurrent users:

11 Click create Controller scene:

12 write any script name, and the result directory is the directory where the script files and other files are saved. Click:

13 "Edit scene target". Select the number of clicks per second for the target type, and the maximum number of clicks per second to reach the target. Enter 100 here and click OK:

14 after editing the scene, click to start the scene:
