Shulou(Shulou.com)05/31 Report--
This article mainly explains "what are the ways to deal with common problems in Linux clusters". Interested friends may wish to take a look. The method introduced in this paper is simple, fast and practical. Next let the editor to take you to learn "what are the common problem handling methods of Linux cluster?"
Load imbalance
Within a cluster, if a node has insufficient traffic compared with other nodes, or is always idle, then the load of the cluster is out of balance. In this way, the computing resources of cluster nodes are not fully utilized, which reduces the job allocation efficiency of load balancing. Improper use of load balancing algorithm or improper system configuration is the typical cause of this problem.
Spillover
If there is too much network traffic to handle, it will result in packet loss and packet blocking destined for the destination node, which will lead to overflow. The overflow may occur in the master balancer or in each service node. Because the processing capacity of the balancer is often much larger than that of the node, it is likely that the traffic of the balancer is smooth, but some weak nodes overflow; conversely, if the balancer is overloaded, it will cause the data flow to be forwarded to be lost or blocked.
Storage consistency
Through the core packet delivery program of Linux, LVS forwards the IP packets entering the cluster system to the corresponding cluster nodes for processing according to the established rules. The object of processing here is IP network packets, not specific disk data. LVS assumes that all cluster nodes access the same reliable and consistent disk sharing system. In the distributed storage environment with both efficiency and capacity, each node is required to save part of the data, and the data of different nodes do not intersect with each other or less, so it is inevitable that the data storage is inconsistent.
There are generally three ways for users to solve this kind of problems: one is to use shared storage servers or storage devices for centralized storage; the second is to use distributed file system to store files in blocks on different node disks; the third is to rewrite the application program that accesses the data by manual means, artificially set the data access strategy of the program, and realize distributed storage in the application layer.
At this point, I believe you have a deeper understanding of "what are the ways to deal with common problems in Linux clusters?" you might as well do it in practice. Here is the website, more related content can enter the relevant channels to inquire, follow us, continue to learn!
