In the course of project implementation, in many cases, the resources of each team are changed, newly added resources and left resources, so how should the project manager manage centrally as a project manager? this document shares the scenario of how the project manager adds resources to the Project Web App repository for centralized management after sharing the Project Web App website with a user, and describes how to do so:

1. In the Project Web App interface, click "Resources" in the navigation to enter the content Center interface, and click "New" in the toolbar, as shown in the figure:

two。 In the new resource interface, mainly man-hour resources, identify information: associate the resource with the user account, and the user identity is the domain user: Liu Zhe as an example, save as shown:

Man-hour resources are people who complete tasks in a project.

Material resources refer to the tools needed to complete the project, including vehicles, computers, or conference rooms.

Cost resources refer to the expenses associated with your project, which may be similar to accommodation or air tickets.

In the identification information section, if you want resources to be able to log in and submit schedules, enter task progress, or view projects in Project Web App, select the resources can log on to Project Web App check box, which usually applies only to work resources. Select the appropriate assignment attribute for the resource, for example, if you want the resource manager to highly manage the time of the resource, and the resource manager needs to submit a reservation request for approval before assigning the resource to a task, select the resource requires approval for all project task assignments check box. In the Group Domain section, enter the group, code, cost center, and cost type as needed. In the Workgroup details section, if your organization uses workgroups in Project Web App, select an option that makes sense for this resource.
