There are two possible ways to install the ODBC driver for Sybase ASE:

Install it from pcclient distributed by Sybase

Install it from the Sybase ASE server installation package.

In the first case, you need to run setup.exe and choose a custom installation. Then click next.

To install only the ODBC driver, check the ASE data provider → ODBC.

In the second case, you need to run the installation package for Sybase ASE and select Custom. Then click next.

To install only the ODBC driver, uncheck the Sybase server and check the ASE data provider → ODBC.
