HS4, HS5, HS6 virtual oscilloscope

HS4, HS5, HS6 USB and United High Speed acquisition Card

Multi-channel oscilloscope software has many automatic measurement functions, which can automatically measure the measurement signal of virtual oscilloscope card or the selection of measurement signal. Use the automatic measurement in the oscilloscope to display any details of the signal being tested. Two sets of cursors, the horizontal cursor and the vertical cursor, can be used to indicate and check each part of the signal. Automatic measurement includes: minimum, maximum, upper and lower limits, root mean square, mean, variance, standard deviation, frequency and so on.

The measurement results are displayed in the software pop-up window, which can be positioned anywhere on the computer screen. A convenient toolbar allows you to click or enable or disable measurement. You can copy measurements to the clipboard, such as using them in a report. When you print a drawing, the cursor and measurements are also included.

Multi-channel oscilloscope software allows you to create and arrange graphics in the way you want. New graphics can be created on the home screen of the measurement software and can be moved to a separate window outside the main screen. When you create a new drawing, you have complete control over the location and size of the drawing. By arranging the charts according to their preferences, users can pay more attention to the measurements at hand, rather than having to locate the charts with the information they need all the time. The graph may include a range image, a spectrum analyzer image, and a data recorder image.

Axis line

To change the offset setting of the axis, simply grab the axis and drag it to the desired position, see Animation 1.

To change the gain setting, grab one of the end bars of the shaft and drag it to the preferred position, see Animation 2.

You can also use the mouse wheel to adjust the offset and gain: when the mouse pointer is over the axis and the wheel rotates, the offset is adjusted. When the CTRL key is pressed during wheel rotation, the gain is adjusted.

Measure

For clarity, not all measurements are enabled by default when cursors are enabled. In program settings (settings), you can determine which measurements are displayed by default when cursors are enabled. By default, the cursor window will look like the following illustration.

Default cursor

Measurements of left, right, right-to-left, top, bottom, top-bottom, and slope require vertical and / or horizontal cursors to be enabled. They use the cursor position as a result.

All other measurements are calculated within the data range. When vertical cursors are enabled, the data range is marked by vertical cursors. When the vertical cursor is closed, the data range is equal to the back sample.

In addition to the calculated values between the vertical cursors, the position of the vertical cursor and the difference between them can be seen at the bottom of the cursor window. The StudiBaseFipe button hides or shows this basic information.

User-configurable virtual impedances that can be measured by power measurement power and DBM measurement DBM. Clicking the impedance MPEFISTION button allows you to set its value. Its default value is 600 ohms.

You can copy the measurements to the clipboard as text by pressing the CopToCIPLoBoad button.

When you open AlwaysOnTop with the AlwaysOnTop button, the cursor window cannot be hidden under other windows of the multi-channel oscilloscope software.

Enabling or disabling measurement can be done by clicking the appropriate measure button on the toolbar and clicking Selectmeasurements. In the pop-up menu of the cursor window, or click the CursRsStuttRead button on the toolbar. The window shown below pops up where you can select the desired measurement.

Cursor measurement selection window

Note: for frequency measurements, there must be at least one period between the vertical cursors. In addition, there must be at least two rising slopes in the signal.

Time base / frequency reference

The width of the scroll bar represents the total measurement record, and the width of the slider represents the visible part of the record. To change the record view offset, grab the slider and drag it to the preferred location (Animation 3) or press the buttons on both sides of the scroll bar. To change the record view gain, drag one of the edges of the slider to the left or right and observe the signal change corresponding to the width of the slider (animation 4).

The offset and gain can also be adjusted with the mouse wheel: when the mouse pointer is over the scroll bar and the wheel rotates, the offset is adjusted. When the CTRL key is pressed during wheel rotation, the gain is adjusted.

Double-clicking the slider, clicking the reset zoom button, resetting the zoom, or pressing the hotkey T will return the time base to the default unscaled state.
