For IT administrators, this is no cause for concern, and commercial and educational customers will see simplified layouts tailored to these scenarios.

Reserved Storage

As Microsoft highlighted earlier this week, Reserved Storage refers to the portion of space allocated to the system to download necessary updates. The reserved disk space will help ensure that all Windows 10 devices can be seamlessly upgraded to the new version.

In Windows 10 October Update or earlier, Windows Update may fail if there is not enough space. In 19H1, Reserved Storage ensures that Windows 10 devices perform the update process correctly.

Windows Sanbox

Windows Sandbox is a new lightweight desktop environment tailored to run applications safely.

If you want to install Windows Sandbox, go to Settings> Applications> Applications and Features> Programs and Features> Turn Windows Features On or Off, and select Enable Windows Sandbox. To launch Windows Sandbox, open the Start menu, type Windows Sandbox, and select it.

Windows 10 Home delayed update

Microsoft allows Windows 10 Pro/Education and Enterprise to defer updates to *** versions for up to 35 days, but Windows 10 Home users do not support this feature. Based on user feedback, Microsoft updated the Explorer icon to make it more consistent with the Light theme. The Explorer icon now looks like this:

● Update the sorting of default download folders

In general, when users download files, they do not modify the file name before downloading. Therefore, this makes it easy to forget these downloaded files (cake_134_small_red.jpg, for example), which makes sorting by name less than ideal and makes it difficult to find the files you are looking for. So Microsoft has updated the default sorting method to time, and the most recently downloaded files will be displayed at the top of the list.
