Deploying KMS hosts prior to WIN SERVER 2012 requires only the following three commands:

Slmgr-KMS key of the ipk host

Slmgr-skms IP/FQDN:1688 (this IP or FQDN is the IP address or fully qualified domain name to be the KMS host)

Slmgr-ato (automatically activated)

Note: when activating, you must ensure that 25 client machines need to apply for activation at the same time. In order to meet the effective count of KMS hosts, you can use a batch to increase the count.

Note: in the domain environment, the domain client enters the system and the client can be activated automatically. If in some confidential departments for the sake of security, in the workgroup and do not connect to the external network environment, you can use the bulk activation management tool for agent activation (VAMT)

Install the VAMT and SQL EXPRESS components in WINDOWS ADK

After the installation is complete, run VAMT and configure for the first time:.\ ADK, Create new database

After entering, add the product key and activate the host (need to connect to the external network)

Conditions:

User account with access to the client

Firewall exceptions (WMI service, key management service, network discovery)

The client manually activates commands:

Slmgr-skms IP/FQDN (client machine points to KMS host)
